Video Game & Web Series music

Post by Reverse Ghost »

What's your favorite VG music, or music from a web series? I'm not much of a gamer, but I do love the music that plays in most games, especially music that created any type of good atmosphere or add great fun to the game.

Some of my favorites are in the spoiler.
In case you couldn't tell, one game is pretty predominant in this post :p Even though it's a Pokemon game that's more repetitive than the normal line of games, the music is freakin' fantastic!

The pokemon videos, the actual music loops itself twice or thrice. I'd include Cave Story, but I'll save that for another post.

I do not read Homestuck nor am I too much into it, but out of curiosity I looked it up on YouTube and found this great piece :dunno:

That first song was pretty creepy but it definitely gave me a feeling that makes me want to play Mass Effect. Unfortunately I lack a good computer od a next-gen gaming system, so I'd have to use Youtube walkthroughs to experience the game... I'm doing that for Half Life 2, and so far the game's damn amazing.
Anyway from another line of favorite games, some really relaxing stuff compared to the constant action in the Jak series.

Well... Medievil has one of the best imo, the atmosphere is just amazing and fits perfectly. Still remember tracks for every level in this game, there was something special about them. Gothic feeling with a spooky touch and a deep soul :)

High Five guys

I've heard aswell so many awesome game soundtracks but i think my number 1 will remain the same forever (just like game itself)

It totally captures an essence of System Shock 2.

Seriously guys, check it out, both soundtrack and game if you haven't had a chance. It's absolutely a unique adventure, playing in this game

Hell yeah! Listening to video game tracks after playing it makes you reminisce about playing it. I'd list some of my favourites but there are too many :)
