Electric Zoo

Post by Haug219 »

Well it is almost time for Electric Zoo in NYC. Hurricane Irene will be hitting tonight so hopefully it doesn't delay the festival. I am pretty excited for this it is a solid lineup. Then on the 16th and 17th of Sept Ill be seeing Headhunterz in Baltimore and NYC. Going to be an epic month!

I went to Identity Festival not too long ago and that was a lot of fun. Some people I got to see live:
Steve Aoki
Kaskade
Chuckie
NERVO
LA Riots
Disco Biscuits
Booka Shade
Datsik
Le Castle Vania

I would say that Chuckie, Aoki, and Nervo were my favorites. I will try to take some videos and pics from EZOO and post em up

Here is a video from Identity. It was raining so hard all day but everyone still showed up and it was epic. The video isnt that clear but its one of my favorite tracks.

Here is the HQ version and the music video.

Well I gotta say that was one of the best weekends of my life. Waking up each morning and going there all day until 11pm then going out after to some after parties in the city. Here are 2 videos. There were 3 tents and one main stage. One of the Tents was huuuuge the one in the video is a smaller one though. The song that reminds me of this festival is Levels by Avicii. Great summer vibes in that song. The craziest performance of the weekend was Skrillex everyone went NUTS. Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 were awesome also. All the performances were amazing and it was worth the ridiculous amount of money I spent over the weekend lol.

Heres Levels being played by Afrojack who had one of the best sets Ive ever heard in my life

Tickets for Electric Zoo 2012 go on sale soon even though they havent announced a lineup or anything haha (presale tickets) but they will be the cheapest. That is good considering I payed around 350 for a 3 day pass when I got them a little late. If you can make it to this festival I suggest you give it a shot it was one of the best times of my life.

If I had such money to burn I'd get some early bird tickets, but I'd rather go a year when I'd know thay'd have some hard performances, three days of House/Electro would get on my nerves after the second day :( The first year apparently they had a Goodgreef stage.

I'd hate to go alone, but chances are that even if I did I'd end up making friends with someone on the first day anyway :p any chances of the early-bird tickets going on sale again sometime?

I heard they sold out almost immediately, and someone told me he had a similar problem ordering tickets like how others complained about Qlimax. The priority waiting list was terrible and a lot of people missed out. Oh well, there'll be more on sale next year :)
