[13/08/2011] The Qontinent - Weekend Festival

Ok so I'm already back from The Qontinent..
My friend who came with me didn't really feel at his place at the festival so I decided it was better to take the road back to France and I got home around 4 a.m today. Wasn't really happy about it but I couldn't stand the idea of partying while he was just sitting in his tent. Too bad though.. Missed a lot of acts, but I will see them at Decibel next week anyway so..

For me the festival was awesome, the camping was great, soo chilled, really cool. The organisation is a bit fucked up (can't go out of the camping after the festival closing hours until 10 a.m. in the morning) but we got over it..

You guys will get the 'incomplete' after-movie but still pretty cool ( ) in the evening I guess..

Yeah well. I'm not happy about it, obviously not. I was happy there, really happy. It was soo chilled, I was so chilled. But I kinda could understand him. It's not his passion, it's a entertainement for him. He listens to hardstyle like, twice a month or something, and I saw he wasn't right from the start...
He told me he felt watched by everybody, and that he was intimidated by the fact that the crowd knew every single song, I think he felt rejected.

I'm really sad to be in France again, I was so looking forward to that weekend.
But at least I learned something from this : Never try to take friends with me ever again.
I'm happy as it was before i.e. joining real hardstyle followers there, and having fun with them...
Lesson taken.

Oh well, I've got to stop talking about that festival otherwise I'll start a mental breakdown
I mostly feel sorry I couldn't watch some acts at The Magic Show / Insomnia stages because those are by far the best atmospheres I ever experienced.
