[02-07-2011] WiSH OUTDOOR [Beek en Donk]
Re: [02-07-2011] WiSH OUTDOOR [Beek en Donk]
Sounds fine to me, then I can still enjoy the whole set of Digital Punk at the main stage before.

I'll be all day at InsomniaTita wrote:At 17:30 Insomnia areaheny wrote:I'd be up for a meeting. Has anyone an idea for a time and place?

The official Harderstate meeting will be at 17:30 in the back of the Insomnia stage.
Good to know
Anyway it was very awesome

My full report before the upcoming video report (tomorrow hopefully) :
Took the road at 6.30am from France and arrived in Eindhoven at 11.30am, waited for X-Pander who came at 11.40 or something, and for heny and Phantomias who came at... 13.20am
Bought 10 vinyls from the freaky shop and gave a tour of the studios to my mates
I was really happy because Heijn, the owner, let us go upstairs alone and he told me that I should give them a tour
After that, we took the road to Beek En Donk.
We finally got in at 14.20 or something. There wasn't much people in there at that time. We took a locker, got some tokens and went directly to the insomnia stage. The stage was pretty small but the general atmosphere in there was... wow
(as B-Front would say
). Music-wise, the best event I ever attended without a doubt.
The Geminizers set was really ruff, it almost killed me
But all the sets were really good tbh, Kodex, The Machine, Chris One and Adaro were awesome. I missed half of Chris One because I wanted to see B-Front B2B Ran-D and damn I don't regret it, it was soo awesome. After that I was completely dead
I just sat in the VIP deck and waited until I really started to freeze. I decided to leave the festival 1h before the end to avoid certain death
Originally, I wanted to sleep in my car but as I was still pretty fit (which was kinda surprising since I danced my ass off during the festival and that I didn't have any sleep in the last 20 hours), I decided to go back home right after the festival. Was back home at 6.00am and slept after 24 hours without a nap
In a nutshell, one of the best events ever. Killer sets, raw, rough, hard, all over the insomnia stage.
Met some awesome people there
. Special thanks to my forum mates, to Tita because nothing would have been possible without him, Mark from the Geminizers, and MC Shizzler.

What Double-T said!
But I found B-Front vs. Ran-D a bit boring and stayed until the end
. You really missed the Insomnia stage closing, Thiibs
Additionally:
I didn't like the Insomnia Stage as much as the Theracords stage at Ground Zero. But thats hard to beat
. Insomnia was still pretty awesome. I prefer these smaller stages over the big ones, because the atmosphere is a lot better and we finally have some interesting lineups.
For the next Insomnia stage (Qontinent I think (?)): Please improve your sound system. It was loud enough, but the front really lacked a lot of subbass. I often saw people laughing at the 'subwoofers' and leaving the stage. With a better soundsystem it would have been even more crowded. I don't know if it was your fault or the wish outdoor team did set up your sound.
Besides that: Respect! Better luck next time with the CDJs .
Felt really sorry for the Geminizers and Kodex.
