Post by Subject Zero »

Ok so im a huge fan of their leads, although im struggling to create similar types of leads. Would appreciate any help that you guys can give.

The type of their lead is used in these 2 tracks

@1:19

Had to upload this small part myself, couldnt find a sample anywhere. The track is Dj N3ck & Deception - Showrocker

Also, if anyone has a midi file of these tracks i would love you forever :+

Yeah its Dead Prez. Anyone help me out here ;(? I tried for a while earlier, using Massive & Sylenth1. Got a cool sound, but it sounds a little too detuned compared to what is used in those songs

It seems to have a bit of distortion, alot of detune and some glide. Im pretty sure its not hard to make it in audjoo helix. :p The hardest part is equing and effects i think

Kinda got something to that side i think

_O_ nice man that does sound really good. Yeah i agree with you, theres definetly A LOT of detune, glide (which i always use on my leads), and i thought there may have been some distortion. I've never used audjoo helix, although i might try it. I really like the sample you have in your sig aswell :D

Would you mind sharing the midi file of the first sample you posted? Would appreciate it :)

Make you sure you put at least one layer from z3ta. You can hear that they use z3ta due to it's distinguish detune sound.
