History of Hardcore
Re: History of Hardcore
Just wondering, where did the dance "hakken" originate from?
Like did that evolve early as the scene started to evolve or was that part of a commercial scheme or...?

Lol.. that's like saying Hardstyle was officially in 2006 (or 5 years ago) because of that 'Nutty T' track '5 Years'....Dekkaz wrote:i think it was officially started in 1995 because that voice of mayhem anthem but not sure
I know that you're only guessing, but c'mon XD
The earliest track I have is from 1993 (Bodylotion - Fuck Martina) and that's just stuff I have.
Buzz Fuzz made some tracks back in 1993 and the Dreamteam label started in 1993.
So basing it on these few tracks, you can assume it wasn't 'officially' started in 1995...
No offense

the voice of mayhem track and the story about the start of the moh label i think its safe to say the official start of gabber was in 1995Dekkaz wrote:i think it was officially started in 1995 because that voice of mayhem anthem but not sure

Dude, in 1992/1993 we already had big parties here like The Delicate Sound Of Thunder, Hellraiser, Thunderdome and a Nightmare In Rotterdam, who were all hardcore. Do your research before saying stuff like that. There is no such thing as a 'gabber' musicgenre, it's just another name foreigners gave to the hardcore genre. The people who dedicated their whole life to the genre and partied every weekend for 2,5 days were called 'gabbers'.

it's fro 1991, and can easily be called hardcore.
I'm grumpier than you.
Do people even read these?

Yeah I saw it. I was just pointing out some facts and saying it wasn't 'officially started in 1995'SCH wrote:it's fro 1991, and can easily be called hardcore.
Pretty nice track, without a one of those shitty early "melodies" too

Not even going to bother replying to that one...Dekkaz wrote:the voice of mayhem track and the story about the start of the moh label i think its safe to say the official start of gabber was in 1995

But technically I am replying with this.

I am a hypocrite
