Jump/Tek Music

Post by Lop-Sided »

Nobody really cares about the jump/tek (jumpstyle) release section and it is rarely updated by anybody. :(
Now that we have an Other Music section, I've decided to make a jump/tek topic.
This way, we jump/tek fans can communicate about the scene, music, or whatever else. :)

So....this begins the jump/tek topic! :D

I think Jump/Tek is not the most reputed style on this board ^^

It isn't, but at the same time, nobody really cares about it too much on this forum either.

Two questions.
1. Why is Jump and Tek so overlooked?
2. Why is it that Tek is closely related to Hardstyle, but Hard-Tek and Tekno are more related to Frenchcore and fast Techno?

1. Because it sounds boring and dull for most people, not for me (or not really back in the days, now it just doesn't interest me anymore)! (and also because it was overhyped around 2006/2007, which killed the scene)
2. Tek related to hardstyle :? Hell no, it sounds completely different imo. Dunno about Hard-Tek and Tekno

I like both of Hardstyle and Tekstyle at the same degree.
The first makes me wanna pump my fist while enjoying the melodies and the second one makes me go crazy.
