Almost every dnb producer started dubstep project ( BSE, Noisia, Spor, Audio, Kryptic Minds...very long list). I know it's better for them, because it's more commercial and more money from the releases that`s why it's is dead. Secondly dnb changed a lot since old times... the latest album that I liked was Telemetrik - My Lightyear. It had something special in it...
Freak Recordings - dead because of lazy ass Dylan, I think in it's days it was the most talanted label in the scene, because of Limewax ofc, this guy made a lot for it
