I just made this, a nu-style pitching bass thingy. Made on a laptop with headphones.



One rendered kick out of Drumazon, sampled and added some dist with CamelPhat and some EQ. Fifteen minutes work, but it was my first serious try at creating a nu-style kick/bass. What do you guys think? Resampled the tail in Edison (FL).

BVR, your kick sounded nice, it was something different than I normally hear.

BVR It lacks...like the feel, it doesnt seem to have enough bass, or that nice clean sound and the punch is like a tick, not hard enough.

meh... Its late so I had to use my headphones when I made this and the kicks I've made with my headphones always turn out to be very weak so I hope this one isn't too.

Tried something random with it quickly and also tweaked the envelope abit so its not that "boingy"...

A question: Wich plugins do you guys use for toks and punches? And in what order do you put the effects?

Distorter; The last edit you made: omg, i would so buy that.
djspeed87; the synth is quite low but i love that kick!
hardmusic; hydra is perfekt, microtonic also works, any vst with a basic sine works.
