Depends on what kick result are you hunting at if you want some "dong" kick than you need to EQ more, because it sounds hollow

it's lacking some real punch to it.. and needs more distortion imo.

it's overdue since my last kick. haha. here's a little attempt.. went a bit crazy on the distortion :L

Rye - Too much decay bud :/ when it pitches up

Parallectic - DIstort that sample, its too simple :/ good base kick , as in,,, itsa good start

Niklooo - Not too bad, just EQ the 500hz down a lil.. sounds abit too muddy


I made a kick in 10min. literally i set a timer XD just for fun. dunno

pretty nice pitch up tbh.
