Anybody attended this event in recent times? I was at 2019 indoor and have just bought tickets for this one :)

I have Icey and as we've been in contact for years, I know your taste. Few things. 1) The mixing is fast. A lot of Dj's are mixing techno now at fast bpms, but this is not solely attributable to techno, a lot of hardstyle is produced and mixed at very fast tempos. But, I don't mean just the raw bpm but there is a lot of going climax to climax, not giving mid-intros space and tracks time to breathe. Any free rave lets tracks breathe but ofc you're not looking for that. 2) This is a festival with likely, early stage, euphoric stage, raw stage, hardcore stage and freestyle stage. early is early, euphoric is anything up till 2020, raw from like 2012-2017/18/19, hardcore early and millenium, freestyle is not freestyle but free style, 2022 hardstyle and everything else. This is great, just important to understand what you're buying a ticket for. 3) I would say dutch crowds really stick to themselves, just like they always are. Absolutely got scoffed at my acti shirt last summer and only made friends with an italian, dutchies could not believe that I flew in for this, nor did they care. Dutch crowds as dutch crowds are.

Announcing a date without any lineup is proper festivals vibes, I'm personally waiting for the next early night. Also 60e sounds higher than last year. But, there is absolutely amazing music, they do manage to get a special act on each stage which is really cool. Not many nights playing early and everything else, except for the underground.

Oh and it being during the day is really cool, should be great weather and the great weather coupled with night falling and everything turning 'darker' is really cool.

Been a few years so looking forward to this :)

Any idea when the lineup will drop? Would love a bit of italian classics but expecting most of the usual Dutch players. Lineups don't differ too much from this event

That's a shame to hear, I've never been to NL and didn't know locals tend to be like that. If I saw someone in an Acti shirt I'd be excited and talk them (actually I wear an Autektone shirt to some events here in Tokyo and a few times people have recognized T78 or the Autektone logo and then we become friends :) )

What'd you expect anyway? Some golden status because you travel from another country or what? You're just another human being among loads of people who're there with their own group of friends anyway. Dutchies are not very sociable people, I mean, we looted half the world and called it our 'golden century'.... :+

oh my goodness no...................i don't think i'm some special being that people should bow down to......as you will know, I used to live there and I'm part dutch from a long time ago haha. and yes I go for the music.....but If I'm specifically asked the question where I'm from and the response is met with such disdain suggesting like what am I doing here, then yeah it sticks with you. not everything on the planet can be explained with dutch bluntness, however many books you want to write about it. I mean, Donald Trump is blunt...

Nah, if you come Switzerland with my music friends, for sure you will have free drinks all night for sure. anyway, there's an EHS day/night on this very day so yeah, I will not be travelling for this this year.
