Re: Bugs & improvements
I've been using dark mode on both desktop and mobile version since at least four years

One more tiny detail. More of an improvement suggestion.
Mobile view, sub forum view. I would welcome if we could see info such as the post count and the author/time of the last post. I think we used to have it there previously. Now if a new post appears, I can only see the 'new post' icon flashing next to the topic.

Done, it's a user icon nowbattlejellyfish wrote: ↑24 Nov 2022, 18:09 I'd also change the "on/off" icon at the top of the page to something else because it's not obvious it redirects you to the login page at first sight
done

Btw, I like to see this section in desktop format but not on mobile, but if I hide mobile, it hides the other oneQre8ive wrote: ↑23 Nov 2022, 21:41 If you encounter any bugs, whether its error codes or you simply think the layout needs work let us know!
Current list of to do:
- Making the sidebar available on toggle; I was thinking to make it so you can switch between always there or toggle to show it
Hide/Show the new+popular section on front page(done 24-11)- Hide genre specific forums
Add scottish flag(done 25-11)- Check possibilities of a shout box
Change icon top right to a more login-friendly icon(done 25-11)- Add dark mode
- Check for quick search possibilities
- Fix the media + img embed widths
- Missing logo Firefox
- Smilies next to quickreply

Cleared cookies, no changes. Still highlighted as not secure (no certificate) and logs me out once in a while during the day.

Are you using an HTTPS or SSL extension on your browser? Do you have your browser set to clear any data after you close it? One or both of those may contribute to the issue.

+1 the old layout had this last poster feature on mobile indeed and it was helpful to meceero wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 19:37 One more tiny detail. More of an improvement suggestion.

formerly "Convicted"
It just doesn't automatically redirect to https:// at the moment (which it should do and should be fixed, simple htaccess rule).
But you can change manually in address bar to https:// (instead of http://) and it will be secure.

Forum update is looking fine
So far the only things i don't like are:
1. The big fat sidebar on the right. Takes way too much space. Would be nice if the sidebar could turn "invisible" and only appears on screen if you click on it.
2. Smilies are defo missing next to quick reply. Right now it's not very handy to always click on "full editor & preview" to see them.
