Best known Terrorcore artists?

Post by Dj Reaper »

Hi,
I am not really a fan of terrorcore but just for some general harder styles education, who are the commercial/top producers in that genere and the idols of other aspiring terrorcore producers?
The only big name I know that is making terrorcore is Noisekick, but is he really the biggest one? Or are there other (more) famous names in that scene, or people who are fulltime terrorcore producers?
Btw I am not asking for mainstream artists who have made a few terror-tracks in their carreer but people whose main style is terrorcore. Like in Frenchcore the biggest ones are Radium, Peacock and Sickest Squad perhaps there are also a few leaders of the terror scene alongside of Noiskick.

I often see names as Akira or Khaoz Engine listed as Industrial artists. Is this right in some way?

Not sure, if he's commercial, but... The Destroyer. I was about to listen some of his sets, but only distorted kicks at 200+ BPM doesn't really do for me (I would not call it music tbh, sorry if it sounds offensive) :P

Thank you guys fir the answers. I completely forgot about Drokz, has also some nice tracks :hat: And heard about Akira a few times too but never really listened to a lot of his stuff. However I´l check him and the others out too and compare them a bit.

Btw that Destroyer-set is also not my cup of tea but I wouldn´t call it "not music" tough, for sure not sophisticated music, but still it´s a form of organized noise, even rrelying on rhytmic structures. that for us may be just as unmusical as Angerfist is for a House-lover and in the end calling something music or not has become so subjective, in older acoustic-books the definition of noise was for example unperiodic waveforms, in nowadays books, given how music has evolved and how people have discovered new areas of music, also unperiodic waveforms are defined as sounds and in the end from a physical point of view all music, from Mozart to Noisekick is just noise.

Well the only producers who are able to produce some Terror on a good level and worth to check out are defo Drokz & SRB imo. The rest of the well known Terror names don't have the skills for it.

Would like to know more about this style myself although I won't play too much of it. You may know I strive to find the harder music in the genre's I play whether it be techno, hard dance, hardstyle or hardcore but this stuff is too extreme even for me lol! Seriously hard stuff!

I would like to post this track, It's new to me but I believe it's an old 'classic' from this genre. I love it, check it out... :)

That's Early Terror what you're looking at in that video, icey :) like Gabber's twin brother who was always pissed off and thrashed about.
