Electronic music with electric guitars?

I started listening to rock a few days ago, and I just remembered how much I love the sound of distorted electric guitars. My question is in the title Is there any electronic genre which uses electric guitar sounds? Not for fx, but instead of a lead. Or if there's no particular genre for this, are out there any songs? Thanks in advance

I dont think there is a specific electronic genre which uses electronic guitars more than any another, its that kind of instrument that from time to time appears everywhere, like piano.

A lot of guitars are in trance too but that's more like spanish / acoustic guitar than a rock guitar which you are aiming for i guess

Guitars on acid and the last two songs are the closest to what I'm looking for. Like when the guitar is used as a lead. And with as much distortion as possible
