I have the remix packs of Audiofreq for a while now, and I was wondering: 'How does he make, or get a pad like the pads in the Oncoming Storm remix pack?'
It has got so much feeling in it! Maybe someone can give me a hint!?

its made with 2 Layered sounds how i can hear it.
1 Saw heavy detuned / distorted maybe and low cutted. played on low notes.
sounds a bit like a reece just without that much Portamento / note gliding
1 Pulse or Square with Porta and Lowcuted too. played on a higher note. (pulsewidth involved maybe ? )
Filter is slightly Opened around 30% maybe and the Attack Envelope of the filter is pulled up.
cause its a pad lowcut both sounds to make them fit and yeah.
thats my guess.
