So, There are many different kinds of filters out there, lowpass/ highpass/ bandpass /notch filter/ comb filter/ vowel filer and more.. there are so many that i've lost track

Could someone please try an post all the different filter types here? I just want to make sure there isn't a filter that I don't know about, ok thanks

Btw not talking about the brand names, just the types

Bullshit filter (as heard on tv)

Apart from the low/high/bandpass filters there's probably an endless amount of other filters, all with their own tweaks and peaks.

I know only 3 filters on synths.
Low Pass - Cuts of the highs
High-Pass - Cuts of the lows
Band Pass - Cuts of high/lows

Never heard of notch, vowel or comb filter :)

Vowel Filter
Notch Filter
Comp Filter
Scream Filter (NI Massive has it).
Double Notch Filter
Allpass Filter
Bandstop Filter
Bandreject Filter
Shelf Filter

All i know, others are different like high pass filter with different notches and stuff.
Tone 2 Filterbank3 has 53Filter types so yeah there are lots of filter types.
