Producing 101 - Lesson 1

Post by Demolite(official) »

Hey guys, I decided to start doing tutorials on a weekly basis.
The first one is about making a modulated screaming screech with massive and also teaches you a few of the basic functions of the VST.

I'd greatly appreciate some feedback and, if you like, suggestions for other topics I could do a tutorial on.
Planned so far are:
Mixing and fattening of lead sounds.
How to apply basic reverb & delay effects.

Things I will NOT do in the near future:
How to make a kick :D

That's a very nice gesture.

And the tutorial is very useful as well. Thanks!

Very nice of you to take the time to explain things! I think the best subject for another tutorial would be how to make FX sounds from synths and vocals (like this: general-sound-design-f66/how-to-make-this-kind-of-vocal-slicing-t20873.html). Other stuff like leads, screech and (FX) kicks has been explained by many others

Would love to see a vocal slicing tutorial like BaneDeBanaan suggested. Their aren't a lot of tuts out their for vocals in general that specifically focus on vocals in hardstyle. Best one that comes to mind is the one Main Suspect did.

I already did a tutorial on that last week, check the other thread I did (Lesson 2) I focused on his suggestion about the Let's Rock Remix ;)
