Trap
Is anyone of you familiar with this? It's a mix of electronic dance music and dirty south beats. Imo this stuff is really banging!
Yeah, following all the channels on youtube uploading the tracks. It is going to be big in the near future, even bigger than dub step because its softer and everybody can listen to it.
Also check out DJ slink, he has some very nice tracks:
N.E.R.D - Everyone Nose (DJ Slink Remix)
Awolnation - Sail (DJ SLink Remix)
La Roux - In for the kill (DJ Slink Remix)
aswell as
Loudpvck - Scaley, Shut up and Nasty
And of Course Baauer - Harlem Shake and probably the most banging' EDM Trap tune atm:
Flosstradamus - Roll Up (Baaur Remix) *Cough Cough* 808 808

Sounds like those super-bass rap songs they pump through from totally pimped ghetto cars. Definitly not for me, sounds really bad
If this is the next big thing, me is disappoint.

I hate to be "that guy", but I don't understand why they call this trap. That stuff isn't trap music, it's just EDM with small influences. Someone should name it something else. below are examples of Trap Music. As you'll probably notice, it's all about guns, drugs and life in the ghetto
It's totally different than this

I kinda find this music bearable, but the people, who produce it... gosh, these are the worst kind of douchebags, i've ever seen.
check this documentary:
it's basically 20 minutes of guidos trying to look super cool and smoking unbelievable amounts of weed.

aw yiss! My new shiny facebook page!Brennan Heart wrote:It's called hardstyle for good reason. It's hard and it's style
What I've heard is that rap singers/producers have started to using EDM music things, like screeches, synths etc in their tracks to get into the EDM scene to get bigger(gangster rap with some EDM sounds). Dunno if that's the case tho but atleast that's what I've heard.
