Screech help !

Post by Mosimuuh »

Hey there, i have a question about screeches.
Well i can make screeches such as this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOsLtGZBkfU easily, but i think its to thin, and i want a screech with more power like the one in the intro of wildmotherfuckers - wildest.
I just cant seem to find out how to make it more powerfull, just like a lead when its layered if you all know what im talking about.

Hope to see some responds :p

Thx in advance

Its easy to make a Nice Fat Screech with Audjoo Helix just Very hard detuning and a bit pitch modulation.
+ some reverb a bit eq and a bit distortion .
and in the screech from Wildmotherfuckers - wildest i hear a bit Effectrix modulation too .
how to make it more "powerfull " master it right should work.
or another way to make it more powerfull maybe sample it down as wave and layer it in the same tone with different eq or distortion . its a lot play around to get a nice fat screech at the end xD find a method on your own would be the best idea
i hope that helped :p

Imagine building a guitar and then tuning it and then playing it. That's what electronic music is.

Also do not forget that if it is sounding thin, think about stereo widening and properly eq'ing .. many people over eq to cutoff wayyy too much at the low mids to leave room for their kicks which can also leave it sounding thinner then desired.

Try adding some chorus as well. That should fatten it up a bit and help with detuning.
