I see it's a pretty common practice, but... how can you guys stay calm after buying a ticket over TicketSwap when the seller can still use it to enter the venue before you?

It's a pretty safe system, I had my doubts too last year as I used it the first time. If you buy a ticket via ticketswap, you'll get a brand new ticket and the old one (basically the one you just bought) gets invalid. So the seller can't use it anymore to enter the venue before you, because his ticket is invalid.

Because I have bought tickets from TicketSwap before, and the name of the old owner was still on the ticket.

I think Nick is right. When I bought my Intents ticket I had my name on it. But I don't know if the code was changed

They do change the codes, not for all companies tho. But qdance is an official secure swap partner.

Unfortunately I had already booked a flight from Italy (because the price were already high and the seats almost sold out)... Of course I failed with the tickets...

Hi, thank you for your tip, I think that this will be my last chance, because I don't need an accomodation for this travel. I'd prefer to find someone who's selling a ticket at a reasonable price

if anyone is worried about validity of tickets bought through ticketswap or viagogo, can confirm in the last year I have bought tickets for defqon, decibel, snakepit, army of hardcore, harmony of hardcore and dominator to name a few, through these websites and never had any problems so not something to worry about Imo

just need to watch out for the booking fee on viagogo if you are on a budget LOL
