Hardstyle = hardstyle because it is hard (get the pun?) to make.
The kick, is like (or used to be) 50% or sometimes more of the enitre sound design..
So in a way, by making it easier to access, everyone will now be able to make HS tracks, even if they're not even HS-producers.

I've struggled for years to make my kicks (which quite frankly just now have started to sound decent), and I absolutely COULD NOT EVEN THINK to use some one elses. But I doubt that everyone thinks the way I do.
And where is the "creativity" to make your own stuff i Frontliner already has done the work for you?

Anyways, I get the good intention he has, and yes he does have a point. HS has come to a stall, and I for one am sick of the whole Bigroom:ish / Commercial shit (sorry for offending a lot off ppl.. :( ), so in a way I'd be happy to use his stuff, but still... I couldn't, I'd be more happy trying to figure stuff out by myself.

Which brings me to.... what do you think of this?

Well if you release the base sample from him then yeah there's no creativity, but the simple fact of applying an EQ on it becomes a creative process.

What you call creativity is merely the opinion of people who are judging if they already have eard it or not.

Yeah ofc.. I´ve done some some crazy stuff with sampled sounds before.
Guess I have to check out his stuff, just for fun.

Not sure what I feel about the kicks tho, hopefully it helps ppl. with their tracks. But I don´t want an entire new gen of beginners who will get famous n stuff by only using someone elses kicks.

well they won't.. beginners might have good kicks now but they won't have good music, good music is not simple
