the tech stuff I miss most is between 140-150bpm
I adore the Qult stuff but if I feel like playing that, I'm not always going want to stick to 130/135. I miss playing solid techy stuff between 142-146 (namely that classic tech-trance sound of 05-08) and of course leading up to techstyle at 150.

It's a pity most of those guys who used to make the 140+ stuff now dont do so...

This year it was Igneon System, DeathMachine, Hellsystem and Anime that rocked it. Over the last year my taste has changed a amazing amount which is insane to think.

Crossbread, Hardcore and Industrial :fist: :fist:
Same here too. I mean, I am not that possible to go to bigger Events abroad but in another way it's the same here with me. Only the fact that I am way more in the General Hardcore Discussions section than in the General Hardstyle section which I was only interested in half a year to a year ago

I have the same thing i still like raw hardstyle but the commercial stuff is just starting to hurt... atleast it lost the magic... If i listen to stuff from 2007 to 2010 i get goosebumps everywhere. i rarely have it from tracks these days..

I still want to produce hardstyle but with my own taste offcourse :)

My interest is growing in hardcore but even more in dubstep and drum and bass and i really dig PRSPCT to. those parties are insane! :)
in succession from the past to the present.. and on to the future!

Dude i know EXACTLY what you mean. I deleted a shit ton of hardstyle tracks on my ipod the other day, and i kept a couple because i liked them and i thought they were really good. Turns out that most of those were from 2007 - 2010, and some tracks that a released nowadays are really bad imo but some get my attention like the latest donkey rollers, JoS & Freqz STFU and Sorrow by gunz for hire, other than that, everything else is just meh...except for geck-o his stuff seems to really entertain me from time to time :)

I thought I totally lost my interest in hardstyle, and then I just listened to some older Spoontech stuff. I don't feel it being that hard now, but the atmosphere in those tracks are just unreal. And gated kicks (L) I can't really turn away from hardstyle as it seems :D

Same thing here. No matter how much dubstep, pop (good pop like Daft Punk guys) or hardcore I listen to I always return to hardstyle!

Think I can now safely say I take more interest in this style than Hardstyle for the first time ever! Just would like to get some more gigs playing hardcore from now on as I usually get people asking me if I would like to play early-Hardstyle/classixx.

Also soon I'm going to be a dad(wow!) and that means that my room with my decks etc will be all moved for the new baby's room. I have nowhere else to put my decks at all! Kind of sad that I won't be able to concentrate as much on hardcore now in terms of playing new tracks or making mixes? I'll still keep on buying new hardcore though and saving to my hard drive for future gigs. Will just have to play off-the-cuff sets every time ha!

I feel I should have explored hardcore a lot more over the last few years instead of just waiting on Hardstyle to come good again.
