I worked on a totally new kick since I was far from satisfied by the last one. Tell me what you think

Tried to make a kick similar to Noisecontroller's kick in Scared, ended up with something more Atmozfears.

Netris, on your last kick:

Definitively improving over your last kicks.
The character of the tail needs to fall away a bit more towards the end of the kick imo. The character is a little strange, but you're on the right track. The tok has the characteristics that a tok should, but is a bit squelchy compared to modern toks. You've got the kick formula down, just need to work on getting the sound you want out of your distortions, polish and practice practice practice.

Has a nice character and punch. Not a fan of the low-end having a different rhythm though.

The balance of the kick is a bit off, but that might be the mix down. It sounds like a liveset, too many highs, not enough low-mids, just sounds weird. Could be the rhythm of the low-end compared to the character of the kick, though.

Trying to create a more rawish type of kick.. It seems like it needs a little bit more punch/tok if you look at the waveform, or what do you guys think?

I've also sampled a fart... yes a FART and literally distorted the shit out of it and it became the punch/tok of my kick

it sure sounds like an Atomsfearz kick, good job!
I'd try to give the punch of your kick a little bit more thump and the tail could need some more distortion. But I think that's just my personal taste
All in all it's a great kick and you can use it in tracks for sure.

Phazon: Dunno what to say about that, to my ears it's as usable as any pro kick. Good job!

Bass Instinct: I like the tok, but I'd personally add a new tail. The current one doesn't sound present enough to me. I'd love to hear what it sounds like with the tok reversed in the tail as well.

@Netris Nice I like the wet sound vibes to it , if i'm correctly saying. Needs more of a thump I feel.

@Phazon that is sweet nearly identical to the original , keep it up!

@Bassinstinct I feel like it needs more of a bang like a gunshot. I like the bouncy bass to it though!

@Snap Nice raw kick , love that bass sound reminds me of radical!
Feel like your eurphoic kick needs more mids and a stronger tok!

There is something off with the bass and the tok. The tok changes pitch abruptly when it decay, but I don't really know how to describe it. It might just be the way you pitch the kick (maybe too early?).
