Switched to this baby a few months ago. Liking it a lot, tho some better appsupport for windows phones would be nice :)
Darycka, I need some firsthand experience here. Im gonna buy a phone soon and i'm torn between a nokia (with windows) and iPhone. Can you recommend the nokias with windows? :) (looking at the Lumia 920)
if you want Windows phone go for HTC, they made some models with it.

Currently a shitty old Sony Ericsson Cybershot since my Galaxy S2 broke. Hope to buy a Google Nexus 4 soon.

@Ceero, I don't see any differences between nokia and htc. I actually think Nokia makes more high end phones with WP8.

Anyhow, Neutronic, I'm on WP7.8 as there won't be any WP8 for the lumia 710, but both systems are practically the same. The general system works like a charm, it took some time to get used to it (I used to have an android phone), but I prefer this over android now. The downside is that WP still doesn't have the appsupport iOS or Android has. There's far more apps available for those systems, although I do think it's getting better. The apps you really need like whatsapp are available and the offline navigation is a huge plus imo :)
So in the end, it depends, if you want to go with the flow and be the first one to have all the coolest apps, or if you want to have something different with an (imo) better workflow. Choice is yours :)

It sure takes a little time to get used to. It's certainly a big phone, but as long as it fits my pocket and I can operate it decently with one hand I'm okay with it. If you really want/need a small phone it's not right for you if that is really important to you. Bigger pockets is also an option! I can't say it's a problem, it could have been a little smaller but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Does anybody have a Samsung Galaxy S3?? The last couple of days my battery charges extremely slowly. It took 20hours to fully charge the battery last night whereas it used to take only 5 to 6 hours. The battery doesn't really drain (it takes a full day to have an empty battery again, if I use it intensively). Is anyone familiar with this problem and what can I do about it??

I think my sister had a similar problem at one point. I think she just changed the battery and the problem went away :)

Here's my phone, Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. Currently running Android 2.3.6. Android 4.1.2 is currently rolling out so will hopefully get to me soon! Sick of crappy 'Gingerbread'. Can't wait until 4.1.2 because then it'll be changed to 'Jelly Bean'.

Today I bought an 8GB SD card. Was only running 2GB before!

Very good, affordable phone.
