I actually think the airfare would be a bit cheaper, but it depends when you get it. Usually when I go to Europe for the summer I get them a couple months early and they are around 800-1000. Also it helps if you have those miles and more cards .

The only DJ who recorded some of his sets was The Prophet, damn his sets were filled with new Scantraxx promos everytime!
