From what I did hear, the Blue stage was "better" than the Red, but seeing all of this just makes me want to go to Defqon even more

I won't go next year because even my yearly paycheck would not be enough to cover the expenses of travel, drinks, hotel/camping, food, and merch.

It was imo. We were on the red stage for 30mins of WP and the sound was bad, maybe it was because of the WP but then after we went to Gold and Blue and the sound was so lovely there. Also the Black stage had good sound.
