liking this thread a lot. always been a massive trance fan since I got some of the Cream cds in 2002. Fave artists/DJs are Gareth Emery, Sean Tyas, Above & Beyond, Bjorn Akesson, Menno De jong (his set at ASOT 500 in Sydney was the best stuff ive heard in years), and so much more.

only recently (ie 2009 and onwards) was when I got into the slower proggier side of things from guys like EDX, Orjan Nielsen, Mike Foyle, MarLo, etc. but i got there haha

I don't get why people have been labeling these tunes as "Trance Music"....Where is the trance music that they are refering to? All I hear is house-ish music.

I'm hoping that trance won't be completely replaced by this stuff....

I know this isn't really Trance, but that melody and how it's made sounds like something from the older Trance era.
