Those tracks are floating around for almost 3 years. Would you really be surprised if they scrapped some of them because 'they sound outdated for a release already'? Wouldnt be the first time that ever happened.Soundphase wrote:How come you feel they will throw those tracks away?John Cove wrote:I'm wondering if Heady & Wildstylez will throw all their P1 tracks from 2018/2019 in the garbage can and produce a completely new album? I see the chance of first gigs in the late summer.

I mean I'm no artist so I obviously can't talk in their name, but can't they accept that they will not be able to release it the way they want, and put it out ? Like, I can get behind wanting to wait to be able to play tracks at events, make the release special, but it's been one whole year since the pandemic started and it's not over till at the very least a few months (not mentioning the existing delay even before the pandemic).
Release it ffs.
Release it ffs.

Anyone else think people concentrate their efforts more on sound quality of tracks these days, instead of actual feeling or musical quality?

While collabs are coming, it's been quite a long time (5-6 years?) since a Technoboy or Tuneboy solo came out. Did I miss a statement about focusing only on TNT, does anybody know anything?
Technical aspect became way too important, lot of soulless releases nowadays...MKN wrote:Anyone else think people concentrate their efforts more on sound quality of tracks these days, instead of actual feeling or musical quality?

Very much agree.MKN wrote:Anyone else think people concentrate their efforts more on sound quality of tracks these days, instead of actual feeling or musical quality?

I would also add that a lot of stuff nowadays stuff is overproduced to the point it's borderline annoying.

Yeah, gotta agree. But there's still so much good stuff which doesn't sound stale/metallic/boring so I don't really mind.MKN wrote:Anyone else think people concentrate their efforts more on sound quality of tracks these days, instead of actual feeling or musical quality?

I don't care about technical stuff that much, it infuriates me when a track is quieter than others, on amateur producers i'd give it a pass but when you're on top of the game, there's no excuse, this happened with some of my favs like Enter The Realm, City Of Dragons and Power Of Truth, all their other releases are loud as fuck but for some reason those in particular are not loud, might be a problem with the release management or something like that
