@xelnadu
The very last note of the first 4 bars is definitely off (the one thats pitchbended). I like the rhythm and the feel of the melody, but the melody itself doesnt seem to be that logical to me. This may be because its pretty complicated and you're hitting 7th or 9th notes in a fast fashion, which is a bit too much (not chcked it, I just guessed it). Try to maintain the feel of it, with either less notes (so rhythmically), mostly 1st, 3rd or 5th notes (only notes that are in the general key) or especially with repeated notes. It will all make the melody easier. Sometimes less is more.
Kick has a really low amount of subbass, and like youve mentioned, it all doesnt sound mixed down.
If you got an easier melody in your track, you can put more focus on different things.

@nerz
The midintro kick is out of key unfortunately. Thats the reason it doesnt seem to fit in there. Also I miss more effects or cymbals in the midintro, like subjective already said it sounds a bit empty. Midintro hardsound sounds amazing though.
Melody has a really complicated pattern. At first your ear cant really follow the flow that well, but in the maindrop you get used to the rhythm. I'd spend 8 bars more for building up the melody so the ear has more time to understand what it hears. (Just quick thoughts here, maybe the break would be too long then but I dont actually think so).
The Kick has a nice character but is way too much in the background, which is a mixdown issue. Everything else pretty much sounds levelled out, only the mainpart kickdrum is too quiet.
Synth seems to be a bit thin, I'd just use more layer for the synth to be like upfront.
And stylewise, I'd put the volume of the "cheese synth" down in the second maindrop, that synth which is playing long notes above the mainlead. Just a tiny bit. I usually do that for that kind of synth to be subtle. You still want the mainlead to be very present but just wanna add a little detail with that second lead for the seond part not being too repetitive.
Didnt mean to rip your track apart here, its not that bad as my feedback may sound. You got nice ideas and a good idea of how a hardstyle track should sound like. Its mostly detailed work which lies in front of you.

@subjective & asocialresearch

your links are down :/

@xelnadu: I do like the melo, but it could be better and stronger. The kick is a bit powerless and wierdly pitched. Its not bad, but could use a lot of work.

@Neko: The first kick is a bit muddyish, around 120hz up. The vocals are a bit powerless, I'dd put a compressor and saturator to get that power up. The buildup is amazing, but I feel it could be longer to build up the suspension and really advancing the track. The screech in the main drop lacks a bit of mids IMO. Your mixdown and sound design are really on point tho, really awesome!

Dont know about the vocals and still working on the midintro/outro/everything

@Neko
The Screetches should be a bit more present, the vocals could be more powerful aswell, it seems the whole focus is on the kicks, the kicks are nice tho, the buildup is great, the idea itself is great, just needs some polishing, otherwise a great track.

@NRx Hardstyle
The kick really lacks any impact or power, the melody is nice, the lead is nice, the buildup and the intro is great, the kick is weak, the vocal fits in the first half, but in the outro it starts to get a bit annoying. With some more work on the kick this could be a pretty good track.

Anyways, here's my first hardstyle track in ~2 years

The whole track sounds very nice, really raw, well to be honest I like it a lot ! Well built, also that kick is awesome, maybe some additional screeches could improve the raw aspect ? Otherwise it's a great one here ;)

Here's my newest track, I tried to make a kind of raw and oldschool track

@Neko thank you again for your feedback!
The Devils ReaperTestmix2 - really digging the atmosphere. I love this style, sounds epic and soul crushing. The kick is really well designed, and the screeches are hitting the right places. Really good sound design and arrangement. Love the pitched kicks and the vocal breaks.

@NRx Hardstyle thank you for your feedback!
Ex Infinium - Fade - i like the melody, but I think the kick volume is too low. The current attention goes to the melody and the kick is kinda out of focus. The vocal fits the style, but the lyrics are kinda simple. Overall a solid work, but i wish the kick was more in-your-face.

@Raw Output - Physical Force - I love the first raw kick, and the kickrolls at around 1:09, combined with the awesome screech. The break melody is nice, but what comes after doesn't really fit. I think you need a more agressive "clean" kick, something like the kicks Malice/Rooler (Agressive Act) uses. Overall it has a nice atmosphere but the second kick kinda ruins it.

@KRB-MP - Break'em Bones - I love the arrangement. It's the classic mid intro, short noises and hard kick that I love. There are a few things that can be improved: the kick is good but i think you need to eq a bit the mids. and the tok really needs some more punch (eq around 200-500 hz, cut the 30-40 HZ). The melody needs a bit Reverb and maybe some delay (just to fill the space, don't overdo it). The rest, the claps and crashes are just good as they are, you don't need to change those. Overall a really nice tune.

I've been experimenting alot on my started projects, and decided to re-make one song I kept posting in here. For now the mid intro is inexistent and unpolished, but I mainly focused on the big climax. I eq-ed everything together and added a Choir over it. Here it is, the final project idea that I will continue on:

@xelnadu: the atmosphere in the track is good. melody is kinda hhz old style, i like it. also all the elements in the song are correct, now you have to work in fx, transitions, etc. i would like to hear the full song when its finished :)

ok so i found this melody that i made 3-4 months ago and worked on this song. what do you think guys?

Lawdylawd!! I reaaaaalllly like this track. Loving the different kicks and the overall drive you have in the mid-intro. Nice soundeffects and stutterish sounds. Not a big fan of the lead melody tho… Also the ‘devils reaper’ voice sounds nice and clear, but the other sentence is barely audible. Overall very nice bro!

@Nrx hardstyle
Nice play with the vocals! It’s a real shame that you kick lacks power in my opinion… That really takes the drive out of your track. The melody and vocals are really good and sounds professional! Maybe the lead could have some different notes in it on the second chorus?

@raw output
Doesn’t sound all that bad but it gets a little repetitive after a while… Also I think your build-up and transitions could use some more work. I like the intro to the lead with the extra soundeffects on the chords. Not a big fan of the second kick you’ve got there but there will probably be a lot of people who like that kinda style. I like the melody in your lead! Overall good stuff, but also definelty needs some tweaks.
@KRB-MP
This ones not for me… Not liking the kick and its to simple for me overall.
@X’el nadu
Def nice and dirty kick. The track gets realllllly boring after a while for me…. I don’t like the melody with that kick, overall its not my cup of tea…

@EMI
I like the kicks and the mid-intro a lot! Not a big fan of the lead melody and the synth you used there. It is overall a really nice and driving track!

@ EMi
Well, I guess it's in the wrong section cause this track sounds really hardcore, but that's not so important in my opinion, it's a good one, I pretty like the second part, maybe the kick needs to be a more distorted, but a nice track in general, even if I'm not really into hardcore

So, this one should be better than my previous one, I guess, whatever, here's the new one

i like the track, the screeches flows good and the melody is good too, but i think it needs more works on transitions, cutoffs and that. i also would made a dinamic bass on the climax drop but i guess you wanted to make it more nu hardstyle, which still sounds good.
