I can only criticize others and tell them what to do better and what they shouldn't do while not being able to come up with any actual ideas about how to do it. But that's not an unpopular opinion anymore

Bring back real sets and real tracks!

Sick of 80% of tracks being cheesy singing and 20% kicks. Also reintroduce those damn intros and outros and make them LONG! It's sickening to listen to a "set" where the music constantly stops because the next dumb track is coming.

^ But again, this is mostly not the mainstream. Rooler and Degos and Re-done are also making great sets but they don't belong to the big guys. The big guys mix in a really awful way, while Sub Zero Project being the worst.

Got any Adaro sets with real mixing and proper hardstyle, and no cheese or nonsensical raw? (Meaning no disrespect)

Sounds like you may want to stay away from Dutch stuff (though Thera's mixes are fantastic).

How about Italy (Jimmy The Sound) or the UK (Rush from GBH records). Both spent 'lockdown' doing tons of mixes. The passion that they have for music

My most unpopular opinion would be that the kicks made from 2010-2015:ish is much better then todays kick.

And one more, I don't like Headhunterz anymore. He made some good music before but after he came back to hardstyle in 2016-2017 he make bad hardstyle.

IMO the shittiest timespan of kicks.

2008ish stuff was a downgrade to the kicks before, but at least different, the era you mentioned was hollow kicks that got even worse when pitched. todays raw/rawphoric kicks are not really comparable, as they got an huge advantage in technical possibilites

I agree. A lot of the kicks did not pitch well at all. I'm not really sure how any one can say that they are better than today's kicks when talking from a technical stand point.
I'm guessing anyone who likes them more just likes the sound more which i can understand. I personally only really like the old gated kicks. However, most kicks I hear no a days are a lot better imo.
