@Sabino : overall i would say you have an clear idea ... but its not very ... finished !? i guess you should try to glue the stuff a bit better together and work a bit more on the lowend of the kick because in the last "mainpart" it really sticks far in the background with the bottom, i cant judge the style because thats a taste thing and everyone likes something else, i would suggest : keep working on it and keep us updatet ! :)

-----
Ofcourse ofcourse i remade the melody ... and overall presentation in the break :

what do you guys think about that version ?
thanks !

@ASTARTAS actually its not finished, but yesterday I was with doubt and didnt know if the idea was clear or confused about the "atmosphere" Im trying to pass, aaaaand... about the glue the stuff still is a big problem for me the same for the kick, but, ill work more and update my stuff, but i would like to receive "heavy criticism" if applicable, oftentimes im working and i dont know if its a good idea or not to continue working on that project.
About your new version, i dont what i should say(again, lol), you have nices fxs, fxs what i would like to reach, in my opinion, its pretty good, except about the "time" what i think its too long.I think if you "stop" at 1:32 and "revive" with a kind of new melody and many fxs could be a good idea (or not, that's what i would have done)

(sorry if I'm not being clear enough).

i would never Judge your idea ... only if you would like .. f*k with all NON harmonic stuff and it would sound like i dunno ... some dying cats in a meatgrinder ... THAN i would probalby say : dude its not a very ... bright idea haha ... i try to only judge on the technical stuff, try to workout your own style and taste what you really want to produce :)

@ ASTARTAS: I think the kick sounds a bit muddy. The punch is fine, but the tail, in my opinion, needs a bit more high and a punchier bass. Great work still though!

I also made something new, as I started producing again, this time on Genelec monitors. What do you guys think? It is a preview of course!

Nice atmosphere right there :) ...I think your lead have too much pitch in my opinion, the attack of the lead sounds a little strange, but the kick is good, the melody and the atmosphere too! <3 finish it bro its really a good track!

guys, what do you think about this one?

You should stretch your kicks, when you pitch them, so they have the same length as the original un-pitched kick. I use kontakt for that, but there are many ways. Else, it sounds good.

@The RaveN Sounds really old school!! I actually really like the idea! Not a fan of that kick though. I know that kicks like that were used in the early days, but I don't really like it. Too much noise and could have more bass. Also, your sounds are okay, but not entirely good mixed yet. I think if you made this around 2005 everyone would've loved it! So you can use that great oldschool style, but you have to make it sound more present like: Josh & Wesz - Retrospect; 2009-style, but it fits in this time or something.

Hope you like my latest track!

The purpose of this track was to do some oldschool gated kick and bass with a little bit newer melody. I don't want to make a copy of a track that mimics oldshool tracks. I wanted to make my own version.
