Alright. my turn. But i'm in dilemma with the mid-intro, whether to keep it or change it. but hope you guys enjoy. :)
Here we go!!

I think your track is sick so far!!! I agree, the mid-intro is pretty cheesy...reminds me of classic trance or something. Could maybe use a total re-work :P The only other thing I can say is that the entire track sounds very bright. I thought maybe it was a problem with zippyshares player so i downloaded the file and it was still very bright. So some EQ'ing is in order to bring down the high frequencies but other than that I think it sounds very solid and quite professional.

Its been sooo long since I started a hardstyle track. but here is my first one in probably a year. I was getting frustrated with the screech I was making that plays once the bassline kicks in and I was trying too hard so it came out very badly. Its almost just static. So I know I must change that. But besides that let me know if the track is even worth continuing. Thanks in advance :)

this is my newest track i am working on its missing something besides vocals... If anyone knows vocalist let me know :)

bed]@arcus i really like that track man. I think you need to find a little better of a kick maybe? But when i heard it i liked it alot. I think just needs a sweet kick =D Maybe a raw kick would be best =D

@dhamiri_blurrboy The intro may be a little much but overall the idea i liked alot. Maybe more layering on the lead?

@Arcus Your Preview sounds a little bit different to me, but in a good way :D
I'm excited what you do with that in the future ;)

@dhamiri_blurrboy I tried to add some Variation to the lead. some more rhytmic notes and a legator here and there. i left the length of the lead as it is to not loose the "flow".

sorry my english is not so good

i think i will make a breakdown part with some pads and another melody before the higher part of the climax at 0:27 begins.

I just put them together for the preview of the main lead

@Djelusionz: Oops, we couldn’t find that track
@Arcus: dude, that sound so good. It does indeed sound 'different'. The kick could use a bit of thickness to it though. It sounds a bit to 'rough', if you know what i mean.
@dhamiri_blurrboy: I've also noticed that your tracks always sound bright and have a hollow sound to it. I don't know if that's the way you export it or the way you master it. If you did master it properly then it would sound really good I reckon. Overall the track sounds great! Not a fan of the fl studio piano though :P I'd add some more kick fx in the build up of the climax.

Here is mine:

@SQMDQ

That sounds terrible, its clipping like fucking crazy, almost blew out my speakers. Kick is dirty and off pitch, the lead is too quiet to hear.

@Djelusionz
Yours isnt available. Did you delete it?

Here's mine

Work in progress, need to do the mixdown, you know, EQ, Comp, Levels. Need criticisms
Didnt want to make a super happy summer anthem cos that shit is over used and I hate it.
Couple of errors in the export, accidently left a filtered vocal in right in at the start.

EDIT: changed this link to the new version linked below, both links are now the same

@ Bass Frequency

Good work! I was wondering how that lead sound is made? :)

And for the feedback, the vocals should be clearer in my opinion. Try to play with Eq, Compressor (multiband) and maybe some distortion. But after all, keep going, good work!

Here is my newest screech/kick test:

Vocals doesnt fit in it very well yet, needs more equing and little tuning.

Tell me what you think :)

The main lead is a saw in massive with some distortion not too complex, the screech is a saw and square in Virus Ti2 with distortion and stuff applied.

Yours sounds like old school stuff, which is cool, but I feel like the kick sounds too hollow, way too many mids and not enough bass and impact. Add a good solid punch to that kick and it would make a world of difference.

UPDATE: Changed it around, did some more mixdown stuff

@temtek - I think the track is quite good, might be better to use different vocals as they have been used quite a lot plus they don't really suit the track imo. But overall Its a good job!

@Bass Freq - I like how diverse the track, the kick is pretty nasty :)

@temtek - Keep working on your kick, it feels a little empty. I feel like it's not quite... crisp enough? Maybe some more bass and a crisper attack.

@Bass Frequency - Really good, man: I love your sound design. The only thing I don't like is that your kicks have too much of a "clicky" sound in the punch. They sound good, besides that.

@DizzleHS89 - It's definitely very different from mainstream hardstyle. Keep working on your sounds. It's not my cup of tea, but I would need to understand where you were trying to go with it in order to give any suggestions on how to get there.

I've been working on this one for a while, but I think I'm done. This is the first track that I bothered with trying to mix after I finished.

@Bass Frequency Really like the atmosphere! In the beggining I think the reverse should be more pronounced other than that it's quite nice! Interesting style

@Dizzle It sounds nice! No idea what you're trying to do with the kick though which kinda ruins it for me... I'm gonna assume it's supposed to be like that.. if so needs more bass! It's not bassy at all

@Spac3core Everything behind the kick isn't loud enough and your kick isn't really that punchy.. The break is nice with the atmosphere :D.. For the climax make add a sweep or something so I know it's coming... But yea work on your kick the melody is quite nice

Just something I've been working on the past few weeks.. I EQ'd the track as a whole a little bit.. just wondering how this part sounds... I feel as though this needs a vocal.. yay or nay?
