Reasons to feel good
Reasons to feel good
People in Holland have had enough of this mass immigration (which is a total fuck-up here), climate madness and woke bullshit! Blocking highways, FUCK that! Not that I think this dude can alter that much, but it’s a clear message. Very clear!
And our left-oriented media still blame Wilders, VVD and more alt-right parties. Self-reflection? Naaaahh… way easier to accuse right. “Shocking” is what I heard so many times in the news yesterday. Well, if you actually know what’s running through people’s minds, the ACTUAL problems people face, nothing of it would’ve been shocking! Funny thing is, many Marocs and Turks, many foreign students in my classes, voted this so-called extreme-right idiot Wilders as well…
May the rest of Europe follow very shortly. It’s time to bring back a country’s cultural values and identities again! Or at least appreciate what’s left of it.

Agreeing 100% with a politician is like worshopping a politician. That's never a good thing.Xurreal wrote: 23 Nov 2023, 15:14 Well in Germany it was the AfD that wanted to shut down clubs in Berlin and when I remember correctly Meloni's regime in Italy isn't very rave friendly as well. I'd rather fear for the freedom I've still got left .

I'm not too familiar with the Dutch electoral system and I think what I think about right-wing in general but they didn't won enough seats and need to form coalition afaik. Is there anyone willing to team up with them at all?DjVero wrote: 23 Nov 2023, 14:42Spoiler

That's fine of course, but no single party can ever win enough seats to be 'the government'. There are 150 seats and you need 76 to form a government. He's already said he'll be there for every Dutch person (passport-wise), so he has decreased his harsh tone from the past. My wife (from outside the EU) voted him as well. We'll see what happens though...battlejellyfish wrote: 23 Nov 2023, 19:31I'm not too familiar with the Dutch electoral system and I think what I think about right-wing in general but they didn't won enough seats and need to form coalition afaik. love you all in NL but you are fucking nuts for voting in that racist Donald Trump wannabe
But realistically, sounds like all the options were shit and you voted for Geert because he might have an NL First focus which was good enough to go with and the church parties/farm parties are all just wack
I do wonder how the world will function differently in the next 10-15 years when more places have right wing governments....

At least they have multiple parties to vote for there. We're still stuck with the same "retirement age status quo centrist liberal" candidates that make it past primaries because most people here are either too lazy to research who they're voting for, or vote based on the color they like, regardless of policy.
yeah, I don't mean disrespect to the American people but your country is nightmarish to meReverse Ghost wrote: 29 Nov 2023, 02:41 At least they have multiple parties to vote for there.
