I haven't listened to any Hardstyle Mafia in like 10 years probably, for me the sound design / mastering back in the day made the tracks almost unlisteneable. I would kill for a crisp-sounding version of 24 Hours.

hardstyle mafia are the true kings of hardstyle

muddy kicks, yeah, kind of a thing, but hard kicks with stunning melodies and the overall-feeling, not in one, not in two, in so many tracks :fist:
I would say it's neither unpopular or unknown it's just not true. Hardstyle Mafia sound awful and always did. There is not one single track I like from them and I never got their appeal.
Heard their most recent tracks?

(More of a Genox track though)

Might sound weird and is probably an unpopular opinion but i'd like a qlimax anthem by them. Or some kind of raw event concept similar to qlimax.

Even though i don't think that will happen.

I hope more artists will do shit like Rebelion did with Overdose instead. Thats more my cup of tea.

That probably would have ended up being my favorite anthem ever. Their style would be perfect for it I think. Unfortunately, the duo stopped producing hardstyle up so there's no possibility for that anymore.

I really hate the trend in Raw to put the climax into the last 20 seconds of the track while filling it up with chaotic crap 3 minutes prior to it.

Average Raw Track
intro vocal two words long
Buildup
Buildup 2.0
Climax exactly 4 bars long
Buildup 2.0 again
Climax with different kick exactly 4 bars long

^Exactly I would only replace the first climax with a sneak peek of the main melody. And despite their raw kicks and harder nature they lack drive lately. It feels like shitty raw from the beginning again.

And the sad thing is that more and more producers with actually great potential are drifting down this path (like Thyron, Riot Shit etc.)

My unpopular opinion is that I miss trance and early hardstyle elements (like acid) in todays hardstyle. So I started to focus way more on producing that myself. Few releases already out now. Not a lot of attention, not a lot of reach / streams etc. But I will continue nevertheless. It's not about scoring hits but to produce what I love.
