@ Teiio: Really nice crunch in that kick! Sounds quite similiar to the original indeed but it could still be alot better, punch needs to be harder imo and the mid-bass could use some more presence.



Improved my kick slightly, didn't have much time to work on it today since I was away the whole day and now it's already too late. Tried it with the same melody but it doesn't seem to fit with it that well... Anyways, I'd be happy if I only could get rid of that ugly tone in the bass, otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with it so far.

harha, not my taste at all, it need more equing and your dist is too hardcorish for me, i'd had more crunchiness to it

hazardouz, I like it but it need a subbass or at least more bass, as well as a better punch, also you need to lower your faders cause it's too loud

@Hazardous: It sounds way too thin and the mixdown isn't that good either which makes it more difficult to hear properly. Lead sounds thin/metallic too...

@Dastylerz: Kick sounds decent, needs alot more work though. Lead has way too much highs at around 2-4kHz (Hard to guess) and the lead sounds weirdly metallic and thin. Punch (Atleast the low-end of the punch) sounds too powerful when compared to the rest of the kick.



Made some progress with my latest kick! Yet another lowpass filter env + Some more distortion with camelphat3 and fruity waveshaper and the outcome is pretty nice so far atleast IMO.

@Dastylerz: sounds too much like DONG DONG in the lows and too much like DANG DANG in the high notes. haha
@Harha: needs way more EQ and IMO less distortion.. sounds bit too muddy/dirty.

@Harha you got a bit too much distortion, sounds great otherwise. Pitch sounds good too!
@PhadeZ not really my style, but sounds cool and oldschool-ish anyways

This is a kick I am working on. It didn't really turn out as I wanted it to though.. I'll keep working - it lacks bass.

@Emperact: Needs alot more work and yeah it lacks bass. The volume envelope is weird/too short, depends on the type of kick though and I dno what are you aiming for so...



Does this sound any better? I can't tell since as I said I'm forced to use extremely low volume because everyone is sleeping and I don't have headphones atm... Tried to make the "crunch" shorter by adding a EQ Mix envelope cutting high freq's from the end, cut some ugly freq's out, etc...
