Hi there!

Wanted to make a kick like Radical Redemption did in Devastation & Disorder. I think I came really close. Please give me feedback! Want to improve!

^ The kick in Devastation & Disorder definitely sounds deeper and darker. I think your pitch is a little too high and the initial crunch needs to be harder, but othat than that, you sound like you're on the right track.

@cor7ex.
Yeah man, tune everything down. I can't tell very well, but the kick sounds pretty nice.

@Akaim
Sounds decent, but there's not much power to either the bass or the punch of the kick. I do, however, like the acid type sound of it.

@The Gearboxx
I don't quite like the punch, or the way that kick pitches. It doesn't sound very full at all.

@FreakshowDJ
The punch is pretty weak. Doesn't really glue the track together much. I don't hear much of a tail, so it's hard to
comment on it.

Well, anyway, here's a bootleg I'm working on. I put the kick together in around 30 minutes, and I really liked it, so I decided to give it a post up to see what you guys (and girls) thought about it.

@Critisized Sounds really raw, which is something you wan't to accomplish. :p
@Firehawk Still needs some work, but it's starting to sounds great imo, god a nice crunch. ;)

New kick. :)

Teiio, sound good. I always wonder how you get so much crunch in your kicks without sounding to distorted (hardcore-ish). The crunch in my kicks always is too much or sounds off (too high frequencies compared to low end).

I use a lot of filtering, this makes the kick sounds clearer with a better character, and add some Fruity Waveshapers, it's awesome, it gives a lot of crunch to your tail. ;)

akaim, need more equing, get rid of some ugly frequencies, otherwise disto amount is good, you should probably make an envelope automation so you kick is more hardstylish, I don't know if you know what I mean by that, but like it need to go down and softer at the end of the tail which is not your case!
