Too bad, but I can relate. My music-listening habit is mainly focused on youtube and a majority of main label releases is indeed Uptempo. It is hard to follow stuff on bandcamp as many labels are coming and going pretty fast. There is no proper platform for Hardcore releases and Spotify release radars often won't include those releases.Rocko wrote: 09 Dec 2023, 17:47This. I quickly tapered off it after Defqon. I just couldn't care less about 95% of the releases anymore. The only reason I ever did check out everything when I was mixing more regularly. Now I don't even wanna do that anymore. I just focus on making tributes and stuff like that, because I don't have to be in-the-know and mix tracks that I have no interest listening more than once...Morbid_Angel wrote: 09 Dec 2023, 17:33 Basically the same opinion as Jellyfish.
Uptempo has made it so much harder finding tracks that fit my taste that I very rarely even preview anything outside of known names. Life's too short to waste it listening to the auditory equivalence of baby shit.
Calm down mate, I meant it in a lighthearted way. We all know 99% of the forum hates it (and also raw, and modern hardstyle in general) and feels the need to say that 38 times every day, so I can't say I like it?

that's cool but he could still do some tracks in his old schranzcore or crossbreed style once or twice
