I definitely do agree on the part that raw has a lack of creativity in general (first the screen-fest hype and now I'm starting to hear a lot more tracks in the style of Brain Confusion), except for a few big names that have been doing something different for some months now..

But pretty much the same thing has been happening for a long time in the euphoric scene where a lot of upcoming producers are either taking a lot of inspiration from either Atmozfears, Noisecontrollers or Wasted Penguinz themselves. So I don't really get all the hate of a sudden, it's nothing new in the scene.

Besides all that it makes zero sense for him to quit hardstyle because of everything he said in that statement.

Well I like both ends of the spectrum, so I dont really get Pontuz. I really enjoy my raw end of the spectrum when I am at the gym, but when working I really enjoy my very euphoric :-) And when partying I sort of prefer my energetic euphoric to medium rare raw, ahaha all these fucking labels

I agree with a lot of what he says to be honest. There is some really good raw out there but a lot (50%+) is very very generic screechfest "I'M GONNA FACEFUCK YOUR CAT WITH WITH A CHAINSAW" CRANG CRANG CRANG and you can't really deny that.

I absolutely love everything that WP do so it would be a absolute tragedy if Pontuz felt that he couldnt be in the hardstyle scene anymore because of this.

While i agree with him that there's a metric fuckton off wannabe-gangsterish screechfest bullshit out there - how many "be yourself/live your life/i love you" shit is there on the euphoric side?
And if you listen to Radical, Phuture Noize, B-Front or even Ran-Ds recent productions you clearly notice a heavier focus on melodies than blatant kick-screech clusterfucks.

He's completely entitled to dislike Raw-Hardstyle as much as he wants-nothing wrong with opinion. But calling all of it shit and throwing a tantrum just sounds like some special snowflake got a huge amount of sand in it's vagina.
