This is for the producers who use Sylenth1 I've got a question for you. How do you make a 'tok' on Sylenth? What wave forms do I use and what do I need to mess with?
to understand how to make toks, just go in the preset list and choose one of the trance kicks you have in sylenth.
see how it is done, you can also see how to pitch the waves to create a tok.
after you understood how to pitch, you can do it with whatever you want!
Have you ever looked at yourself in the eyes of the one you have not become?

Start off with init, use saw osc's for all harmonics so you can still eq and filter alot :)

Sylenth1 is really hard to learn. I am using Hydra right now it's really straight forward and being is just a kick VST alone. Though would be nice to learn on Sylenth aswell.

Though I am messing around and hopefully soon I will work it out. Thanks for all the people who have helped me. Really appreciate it as I am new to this board and genre!

You serious!? :?
To get a good punch out of it is hard, but everything else is piss easy imo.

I'm new to producing hardstyle, I have produced other genres but I have never synth my own kick. I was using samples back then.

A little bit of everything.

Electro, Happy Hardcore, Rhythm & Blues.

I stopped producing for quite some time. Recently starting again but this time with Hardstyle because I really love the new sounds of Hardstyle!

Thats why i use Junglist for punches & Sylenth1 for kicks, best combination for me

Although i do sometimes create non pitched kicks in Junglist
