@Cranx: love yours, good, but short tail
this is my last kick. I've been worked on it for 1 week, so now I am happy with it. Anyway, this needs much feedback!

oh and btw, in addition to this I tweaked it a bit to achieve similar distortion effect as in Moonraker. So that's the result:

@Akaim punch is not bad but bass is a little muddy, too much mids, maybe decrease 100hz on bass

qobalt: Nice crunch to it. I would prefer a little bit harder punch. Something hitting a little bit lower.

SRK: Nice tok to it. I cant say that i love the bass. Im one of those who love the shorter kicks. The bass kind of goes Whoom whoom.

Akaim: I agree with Aliner. A wee bit muddy.

Aliner: Your kick pitches really nice. Nice clean tones to it. The punch sounds a little bit odd to me. I cant really explain it. I would like to have it a little bit cleaner. But in the end it does the job the kick should do really nicely.

My new kick, im getting tired of this. I wanted a super crunchy and a little bit different. And when i do im not sure i like them. A sublayer will be added to this one. I think on my hunt to get the crunch i forget the mids. Making them thin.

@SourceOfDistortion: your kick is pretty good, what plugin do you use to distort? nice crunches can be achieved by using Ohmicide (I use it and it works perfectly)
@CrankMusik: again nice kick, but I would add some drive to it
@Aliner: nice one, time to work on mixdown

my punch is actually quite thick, it's just a very bad mixdown like qobalt pointed out didn't even save that mixdown

I dont want to be rude my friend. But I have a sample from NC - Ctrl.Alt.Delete kick and it sounds 100% the same. I know you say the tail is ripped, but the punch is identic. I can also still hear the digital wave sound in the kick from the original track. Just try to make 100% your own kicks, with ripping and stealing you wont get far.


My leads and kick under the melody from BLUE HORIZON from NC and digital punk. It pitches pretty fkn good I think myself, also the melody is I think 12 semitones to high but w/e, still you'll get the point!
