Sad because i remembered that my tickets to Sound Of Q-Dance may be worth nothing after the event was postponed and then covid hit almost 2 years ago lmao
i asked both the mexican organiser and Q-Dance about it twice, no response at all..
I've been bamboozled :+

Saddened by how much people's mental health is affected by what's going on :(

personally, i'm in a really bad place and I don't know how to get out of it.

First thing:
Although I've got some mental health issue that can make me feel quite uncomfortable in many situations,
I'm neither depressive, nor do I have deeper psychological knowledge, so my advice is only second rate.

How to deal with it: Stay busy as much as possible.
When you can't sleep, don't lie in bed and do nothing.
Accept that you will have times when you feel really down,
but pay attention to pull yourself out of it before it's lasting too long.

1.) I found animal protection a wonderful thing, as it showed me that there's much more misery than my own problems. Though it will loosen your pocket a lot.
2.) Expand your knowledge in things you are interested in.
Over the years I learned several foreign languages, as I was interested in some people I met and countries I visited,
that I wanted to know more about their cultures.
3.) Music: During the lockdowns I've been using large parts of my free time by simply listening to lots of music and discovering its patterns.
4.) Sports: Even if it's "just" jogging. It helps.
5.) Don't exclude yourself from society even when you feel like it. It'll make things worse.
6.) Be careful with alcohol. Its short-term effects can be amazingly positive. In the long run you'll just feel worse.

I can feel you, man. Exactly the same here. I had to cancel my apprenticeship due to my mental health and now I'm seeking for a therapy near the place I live. It sickens me that until next year (next apprenticeship) I'm not going to do anything besides therapy and mini jobs. I mean, better than nothing, but still... It feels like my health is getting out of hand again.

Staying busy is exactly where I fail atm. Idk, it's kind of an everlasting boredom with the urge to DO something but it feels like I'm exhausted to do so... I think I will try jogging...
Thanks for the advice, Xurreal. It's a tough time for everyone for us. <3

Can't believe some of us might be in similar situations, i started to have some sort of mental health problems back in 2018 when i dropped college, feeling meaningless and with no will to do anything, luckly i have a huge sense of humor that helps me cope with all this and laugh at myself

I've never tried therapy or something similar, i do distract myself from overthinking, the problem is i distract myself with things that add little to nothing for my life, i do enjoy it but i feel like im not being productive

Anyway, i really hope we all overcome our issues asap and start to enjoy life as intended, if that makes sense, stay strong and you'll see the sun shines for all of us guys ^^

Yeah I'm seeing a psychologist and I'm on meds at the moment (depression, OCD and alcoholism) and I feel I already improve so that's on the good way for me :D

Wishing you guys all the best first.

I can only say it's not only fine but completely normal to feel down or empty. Occupying the mind is great - just don't oppress your feelings, be sad when you "have to". What you can learn by therapy (I guess, I've never been to one) or stages when you're active and experience things is to be able to handle these situations. Handle but not getting rid of it. Maybe it's possible in some cases, I can't read your minds haha.

What I'm against is to work more and harder in your workplace. I mean yeah it's certainly good until you reach the point of being a workaholic. And well capitalism... I don't want to get into it :+ Just be open-minded, you can use those newly earnt skills to take a certain burden off your shoulders by not being so harsh on yourself about things you can't be blamed for.
