Yes the main site is only open on the Saturday, it is a decent walk from the camping area (20-30 minutes round the lake).
It depends where you are at the camping, last year I was less than 5 min from the festival entrance (H)

Hello, I was at Defqon 1 this year and really enjoyed it, after some research for other festivals I would like to visit I found Decibel, however I could nowhere find an explanation what the difference between the Weekend and the Festival is, both cost about the same and seem to have different Line-Ups even tho the Artits are about the same.

Do they have different Locations or is the Festival included in the Weekend? What are the Pros and Cons of the two?

I would be very thanksful if someone could explain!

The Week-End is the whole week-end from Friday to Sunday, the Festival is only Saturday.

For the week-end there is only one (big) tent inside the camping, the preparty and Sunday take place there.

First of all thanks for the answer, if I understand the site correctly the Ticket for 130€ includes both the Camping Party on Friday and Sunday plus the festival right?
