there's no "must haves" but there is 'nice to have' distortions

What u used as basis? just 909 sample or any plugin.

for kick surgery I sometimes use "christortion" distortion of Christ

it gives you the control to boost certain frequency bands in a kick by means of distorting them

Having been using it for the past week or so, I have to recommend trying the Vengeance Distortion. Some nice sounds can be achieved with it, should definitely check it out!

I was impressed by how this distortion could distort a snare, sounds like it does limiting by itself

all the VPS plugin's have a built in limiter

Sry for late reply, still new on the forum.
I used a 909 at a low F#
Ohh and btw, no sample, I used the EKS-9... I think... Or maybe drumazon
