must say the noisecontrollers anthem was pretty decent in the end. :whoop: when i first heard it i thought wtf to be honest. but now looking back at it it really was a decent fucking anthem. wildstyle was OK but not anthem material IMO.

I've got a question:
If I decide not to buy the Defqon 1 Extended 'luxury pack' or the tent deal, and just book a near hotel/hostel for 4-5 days, will there be any transportation to the festival area? Are there any normal buses from nearby? will there be special Q-Dance shuttles? in short: how the hell do I get there (without a car) from a nearby hotel/hostel without taking a cab? how did it work last year?

thanks!

I hope for sthing decent like last years NCs anthem, but most probably it will be boring as hell, not high expectation.. :( let see what q-dance will give us..

Unite was horrendous
but to be fair, the first half of "No time to waste" was awesome, the climax was just random as all hell and made no sense (but the Viper remix was nice)

The No time to Waste melody was off key at one point I believe. No joke.

Yeah I really enjoyed No Time To Waste's first half. I've said this before but that intro gave me a bit of an 80s glam rock feeling which I loved. It's just that it was about 8 minutes long, and changed dramatically halfway through.

I honestly didn't mind the Pavelow or Viper Remix either. They both sold the tonal change really well.

Sry for bumping:
Transportation info anyone?
How do we get to the Festival area from a near by hotel/hostel by bus or q-dance shuttle, and back (preferably without a taxi) ?

from what i know you can get a train to a certain point. then you have to get off and get a bus "147" it says on google for another 20 minutes to defqon. I don't live there but this is the best to my knowledge and from what i heard last year it's a nightmare for transport with all your bags unless you gota car or coach or something. last year i was in contact with some ducth frineds who i known over there so it was easy enough for me because we just got a lift from them. This year i'm renting a car. read below this is what i posted a few pages ago if your interested...........

EDIT:-

I’ve booked my flights yesterday and car hire (I know bit risky but hey) the car hire for 3 days was £80 and Of course after last years great event I am planning on going from the Thursday-Sunday again this year. Although last year was Friday-Sunday……..but you get the picture. I will be arriving at Amsterdam airport on Thursday about 16.00 with my girlfriend. We got 2 spaces in the car (need to keep 1 space free for everyones baggage) for £20/euro per person if you need a lift from the airport or anywhere ON-THE-WAY to defqon.1 for the Thursday. And of course on the Sunday we will drop you back where ever you wanted. Wether it’s the airport of your home I‘ll drop you there. I’m pretty sure trains can’t get to defqon but you can get a train so far and then you have to bus it. I can’t be assed with that with all my bags lol. So anyway, if any ones interested just private message me.
