I'm so so sad about the cancelling of the party...me and Nick have been working with the event for a couple of months now and to see all your work get torn to pieces in one night is horrible! I just hope that the Club Aqua crew will get trough this and keep doing what they do the best.
the only positive thing i can see right now is how much love and support the scene is showing!

Now the official explanation is out. The police in Norrköping want 708 400 SEK (77 631 EUR) from the crew. If they can't give them the money they will have to cancel, which they did. The police want to bring 77 policemen for 10 hours to the event because of the music and because this music brings big drugproblems.
This is just a brief text that was given out in the local paper, more info may follow.

The only way to convience me buying 77 policemen guarding my event for 77.631 EUR is if they were all made of tutti-frutti bubblegum, that would've been awesome.
But all in all, sad that this event was shut down, especially so close to the actual event, they should've at least told them this before even booking all the DJs etc etc..

just wanted you guys to know that these is getting huuge attention in Sweden! The whole EDM scene is supporting and even ordinary people that may hate edm is! There's been reports on TV, radio and news papers. Politicians and celebrities have been posting comments about it on Twitter etc.
The event won't be able to get back till the 5th but if this is going where i think it will the Police will have to back down soon!
