Radical Redemption
ANNOUNCEMENT: It is exactly 8 years ago today that I released my first album ‘Annihilate’. And I want to let you know know that I am working on my 6TH RADICAL REDEMPTION ALBUM now!

What we did in 8 years is absolutely incredible. Annihilate, The Spell of Sin, selling out the Heineken Music Hall 2 years in a row, The One Man Army, the birth of Mjnus Militia, moving my event to a venue of 12.000 and selling out. The Road to Redemption, Command & Conquer and The Brotherhood of Brutality. In 8 years we were able to cross boundaries that everyone thought were impossible to cross. There is so much more to come. And it is all thanks to you, my fans. Your crazy loyalty towards me and my music is humbling. I will always remember the faces of the people that were there from the beginning, but also from the new generation taking their place.

My new album will only contain solo tracks and will bring you back to the essence of Radical Redemption. I was able to produce this album without the pressure of an upcoming event, what resulted in the best music producing experiences I’ve had in 3 years.

Thank you for your trust, your loyalty, your messages, pictures, support, tattoos. Thank you for 8 incredible years, let’s go for 8 more!

*Read in Ricky Gervais voice* What? Another one? Fuck me, this guy has made more albums than some bands who've been rocking for 30+ years...and needless to say they're all filled with pointless ding dong shitty tracks.
The DJ spins a galaxy of black vinyl, for the gods that came to dance!

all filled.....

Have you heard the One Man Army? ;)

Everyone in hardstyle has made far too many albums, it's just what our scene "loves" - one day hopefully the album hype will die off and a 4 track EP can be the norm again

What's wrong with albums? Most of the people in hardstyle who have released albums have only released 1. Also in a lot of cases, it's better marketing wise and money wise to release singles because when you release an album, there's always a few songs that people don't care as much about. But when they're all singles, there's a bigger focus on each song. The only real benefit they get from an album marketing wise is with a physical copy which doesn't even happen for all of the albums. But people do like having a physical copy.

Also, aside from that, albums can tell a story. Like Vazard's for example. You would have lost the story if they were released just as singles. I know not everyone does this, but there are albums out there that do.

Also I believe the 4 track ep was a norm because vinyls they were selling could effectively only fit 4 songs on them. So they wanted to fill them up. I could be wrong about that one tho.
