I think he means he didn't find EHS tracks in the mix he enjoyed pretty much (so that way, he doesn't find them "real" EHS tracks or he find them overrated in a bad shape or so).

No, I mean.. The tracks doesn't contain the 'real' early hardstyle sound. Hardstyle is much much older than these tracks. There is a difference between old hardstyle tracks and the early hardstyle sound. This is an great example of the pure early hardstyle sound as it was back in the days:The Convicted wrote:I think he means he didn't find EHS tracks in the mix he enjoyed pretty much (so that way, he doesn't find them "real" EHS tracks or he find them overrated in a bad shape or so).

Btw when the tracks in the mix from Vioda were made (2004/2005), the term early hardstyle was already created for the sound I mentioned before..

Indeed, hardstyle originated/emerged from different styles like hardhouse, techno, hardtrance etc.ChristianHardstyle wrote:Not an expert, but to me it sounds like a crossbreed between hardstyle and hardhouse, but i may be wrong

Well it's not really early Hardstyle as it's from 2008.
But i am only 20 years old so i didn't grow up with it. But for 2008 this track is smashing like no tomorrow.

Well for me -personally- it's actually pretty early Hardstyle, if you know what i mean. Not sure why but even for 2008 this outclasses a lot of other Hardstyle tracks.Vicious wrote:Why would you post it in an early hardstyle topic then?Amperial wrote:

..and tbh a lot of"early" Hardstyle has too many trance influences to be considered Hardstyle imo. I don't even regard them as Hardstyle.
But ye maybe i am wrong as i started around 2007.
