I agree, Q dance started to "change", but their fuck-ups outweight the "good" changes by far, Supremacy has been having a predictable and boring lineup too, but still sells out far quicker than any Q event because raw hype, Q couldn't take advantage of it and in fact the closing of Qapital just gave away they have no idea what they're doing and seem to be out of touch with the sceneAmperial wrote: 26 Jul 2024, 07:05 They already struggled against raw and couldn‘t match versus art of dance. However art of dance and the whole scene, supremacy etc became repetitive too.

i tought y'all would be happy to see this end as is, than seeing it become generic raw event N° 13 to be profiable
And i doubt they're closing because profit anyways, or that this has to be related to their recent aquisition, they've been killing their flagship events for years now, even before covid, to me its sounds like they lost it, any creative or straight lead to a clear vision, thats a good thing tbh, competition raises and they take away the monopoly from them, lets see how the scene crumbles![]()

The "finally it took them a while" is sarcastic
Yeah, not surprising, those investors have their hands in every industry they can anyway, infinite money to invest most likelyShadow Interaction wrote: 26 Jul 2024, 11:42 and lo and behold, biggest shareholders of KKR: Vanguard and BlackRock, big surprise![]()

U expect Q to bring new events?.. They just on the way to closing Q-dance.. already started a new B.V. for Defqon..Shodan wrote: 26 Jul 2024, 08:59Q-Dance is owned by ID&T which is owned by Superstruct which is owned by KKRRomanian Hardstyler wrote: 26 Jul 2024, 06:50 Who bought them? that last one is an investment group that recently acquired them all, people are talking that they want to detach the Q branding from Defqon and leave it as a "standalone" festival a-la Tomorrowland

Q dance has not had any new concept like a cheaper event or whatever, its the other way around, they're charing more for shitty new concepts inside Defqon (the theatre), other organisations arent exactly innovating but they offer samey experiences for a cheaper price, it was the adapt or die game, and we know how it ends
