the thing is, early fans can tell but techno fans can't and the audience is much wider and so what gets passed off as techno is not really questioned. and why should it be, these experimentations of sounds and early influences feels so raw, shouldn't really be pigeon holed. so it is genuinely passed off as techno but as seasoned listeners know the difference, there could be 1 or 2 that could be removed, guilty

i respectfully disagree, the techno community is maybe the most toxic when it comes to define what is "pure true techno" and what is not, i also think genres should'nt be encapsulated to a specific sound tho, it's just the feel that some tracks gave me
