Pretty much standard track, nothing outstanding... Has that 2009 feeling, but I would say it's forgettable after one listening... But happy for the guys, that they sorted their shit together and made a track together again!
i see you with my x-ray

This actually..

Im sorry but i expected more kicks like the ones in Eternal Vision, All about the music etc and a more special synth.

This is like VOL-E says a standard track :/

But lets hope the next ones is better, at least there will be one more track according to Sam.

sam comment

If anyone asks me which track took the longest to make, it's definitely this one, a full 4 years in the making.
Code Black started with a very basic version of the piano melody when we first moved to Holland and I developed it into the big melody. Then history happened and Bioweapon was out of commission.
Fast forward to a few months ago and we started toying and playing with different ideas and approaches when we decided that we were both ready to make music again. There were different facets to Bioweapon but we wanted something a bit darker, so we started with the noise work which was a throw back to The Heretic and our Memento Remix. Late one night while we were jamming away, Corey dusted this project off and showed it back to me. It was the perfect vibe for where we wanted to take the track: a little spooky and dark, but still fun and dancey without sounding too much like circus music or the sound of nightmares. Odder still that so much time had passed and so many songs made since I'd worked on that melody so much so that I don't remember doing it, but it gave me that feeling of 'yes, thats the one'. Very surreal.
We worked on the voice over script together, and obviously it symbolises our experiences over the last few years.
Once we had the melody and the voice over sorted, I worked on the breakdown and we managed to piece together something for Brennan Heart's set at Qlimax.
Some cool production notes: the screeches come from massive and a stupid amount of distortion from u-he's runciter. The main lead layer comes from the Virus C with some Sylenth layers. The ghost spooky swooshes are recordings of me making zombie noises recorded with a Zoom H4N and then processed in Reaktor. The main plucky piano believe it or not comes from Nexus (which I almost never use) but EQ'd and heavily compressed which I tried to play in a style that felt a bit like Pirates of the Caribbean.
We're not breaking new ground here by any stretch, but thats the entire point of us doing Bioweapon. Code Black is its own thing, Audiofreq has its own approach. Bioweapon was, is, and will be hardstyle that is inspired from that golden era of the music, what first drew us into the genre.

not liking it either. The intro sounds very forced but the melody isn't necessarily bad
